"Ancestors & Descendants of Johann Jacob (Noeh) Nay  1415 - 2003"
    Mr. Nay lived in Germany, speaks and reads the German language, and has visited the village of Klakfeld (near Siegen, Germany) and the house of Johann Jacob Nay and his family, which was standing until recently.
    The book is professionally hard-bound, with 800 plus  -  8 1/2" X 11" pages which includes 241 photographs and documents.  It also contains information on allied families such as the Admire family along with an index.
    The price of "Ancestors and Descendants of Johann Jacob (Noeh) Nay 1415-2003" is $60 which includes postage.  Mr. Nay is not making a profit on this book, and it is well worth the price.  The first printing should be available in January of 2006.

From "Genealogy of the Nay Family, A record of the Descendants of Jacob Nay of Virginia from 1723 to 1949"

    JACOB NAY (Our Direct Line) was born in Trupbach, Germany on Nov. 7, 1732. 
He left the Rhine Region of Germany due to religious persecution and sailed from Rotterdam to Philadephia arriving about 1726-27 being apprenticed to a cooper named Huffman until 21 years of age.  He settled in
Madison County, Virginia in a place called Germana and was given a land patent for 146 acres by Thomas Lord Fairfax.  He also received a lease of 500 acres for 100 years known as Nay Pines.

Jacob Nay married   Mary (Unknown) in 1745 in Virginia.
He died in 1828 in Farquier Co., Virginia

The Children of Jacob and Mary Nay are as follows:

1.  JOHN JACOB NAY
Born:  1746 at Nay Pines, Culpeper Co., Va;  Died:  September 14, 1847
in Harrison Co., Virginia;  Children:  Ollie, John, Vincent, and Mary Nay Martin

2. JOHN NAY, SR.
Born:  1749 in Culpeper, Virginia at Nay's Pines
Died:  1841
He was a Private in Captain Henry Reed's Virgina Company
in 1781 in the Rev. War.  He was at the surrender of Cornwallis.
Married Sara Brown

3.  JACOB NAY, JR.
Born:  1762;  Died:  Before 1834

Born:  March 9, 1763 in Culpeper Co., Virginia
Died:  October 1, 1848 in Ninevah, Indiana
Buried in the Nay Cemetary, Ninevah, Indiana
He moved from Virginia to Kentucky in 1788.  Then he moved to
Johnson Co., Indiana
He enlisted on March 1, 1781 as a substitute for his brother, John Nay
and served 3 months in Col. Thomas Barbour's Virginia Reg.
On October 17, 1781, he re-enlisted and served an additional 3 months as a Private in Captain Kad Slaughter's Co., Col. John Slaughter's Virginia
Regiment.
Married in 1783 in Culpeper, Virginia to
Nancy (Unknown) 
Died:  February 14, 1815

5. WILLIAM NAY
Born:  1764 in Culpeper Co., Virginia

Died:  May 5, 1851;  Buried in the Nay Cemetary in Ninevah, Indiana
He leased land in Fauquier Co. on January 7, 1792 and moved in 1830 to Edgar Co., Illinois. 
He started a church called Pleasant Hill being of the Cambellite Faith.
On January 10, 1789 in Warrenton, Farquier Co., Virginia he married

FRANCES MAHORNEY
Died:  August 27, 1837
