My grandparents, Eli and Maude Zink, moved from Illinois to Colorado in August of 1924 because their daughter, Mae had tuberculosis.  They lived on a farm west of Grover, Colorado when this picture was taken.
Later they moved to Greeley, Colorado and lived there until their deaths.  My sweet grandmother had rheumatoid arthritis and was in a wheelchair the later part of her life.  She made beautiful crocheted scarves and doillies and she enjoyed drawing.
Grandpa took good care of her as long as he was able.
